In our exploration of God's presence, we're reminded of the transformative power of seeking His glory. The story of Moses in Exodus 33 serves as a powerful illustration of this pursuit. Moses, despite witnessing incredible miracles, still yearned for more of God's presence, crying out 'Please show me your glory.' This teaches us that no matter how far we've come in our faith journey, there's always a deeper level of intimacy with God to be discovered. We're challenged to adopt this same hunger for God's presence in our own lives. Pastor Jeremy's message emphasizes that the presence of God is what truly sets us apart and marks us as His people. It's not about the blessings, but about the Blesser Himself. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to evaluate our own priorities. Are we content with the gifts of God, or are we, like Moses, willing to say 'If your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here'? This perspective shift can revolutionize our approach to faith and deepen our relationship with God.
