WELCOME TO GRACE NEXT STEPS

You’re not here by accident.
Whether you’re new to Grace or ready to take your next step, this page is designed to help you grow, get connected, and become everything God has called you to be. At Grace, we don’t just attend church—we belong, we grow, and we build together.
Start where you are and take your next step below.

Step 1: Give Your Life to Jesus

Everything begins here.
Salvation is not about religion—it’s about relationship.

Jesus didn’t come to make bad people better—He came to make dead people alive.

Through faith in Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven, your spirit is made new, and you are brought into the family of God.

Scripture: John 3:3, John 14:6

If you’re ready to give your life to Jesus, watch this video and respond.

STEP 2 — WATER BAPTISM

Water baptism is your next step after salvation.
It is a public declaration of an inward transformation.
When you go under the water, it represents your old life being buried.
When you come up, it represents new life in Christ.

Scripture: Romans 6:4

WATER BAPTISM — FAQ SECTION
Who should be baptized?
Anyone who has made the decision to follow Jesus. Baptism is for believers—it’s your personal response to salvation.

Do I need to be perfect before I get baptized?
Not at all. Baptism is not about having everything together—it’s about taking a step of obedience and trusting Jesus with your life.

Does baptism save me?
No. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Baptism is an outward expression of the inward change that has already taken place.

Why should I be baptized?
Because Jesus was baptized, and He calls us to follow Him. It’s your way of going public with your faith and declaring your new life in Christ.

What does baptism represent?
Going under the water represents your old life being buried. Coming out of the water represents your new life in Christ—cleansed, forgiven, and made new.

What do I wear?
Wear something comfortable that can get wet. Many people wear dark clothing or a t-shirt and shorts. We’ll help guide you when you sign up.

Can my family come?
Absolutely! This is a moment worth celebrating. Invite your family and friends to be part of it.

What happens during the baptism?
You’ll briefly share your decision (if you’d like), and then a pastor or leader will baptize you in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

STEP 3 — BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

God has not called you to live the Christian life in your own strength.
He has given you the Holy Spirit to empower you.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit brings boldness, power, and a deeper connection with God.

Scripture: Acts 1:8

Watch this teaching and learn how to receive the Holy Spirit.
HOLY SPIRIT — FAQ SECTION
Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is God—He is not a force, but a person who lives inside every believer to guide, teach, and empower them.

Do I already have the Holy Spirit after salvation?
Yes, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside you at salvation. However, Scripture also teaches a filling or empowering of the Holy Spirit that strengthens your walk with God.

What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit?
It means allowing the Holy Spirit to fully work in your life—empowering you, guiding you, and producing spiritual growth and boldness.

Is this for every believer?
Yes. The Holy Spirit is a gift for every person who follows Jesus, not just a select few.

What about speaking in tongues?
The Bible teaches that speaking in tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit and a form of prayer beyond our natural understanding. It is a personal and powerful way to communicate with God as the Spirit leads.

How do I receive the Holy Spirit?
You receive by faith—just like salvation. Ask God, open your heart, and trust Him to fill you.

What will change in my life?
You will experience greater strength, guidance, spiritual sensitivity, and boldness to live for Jesus and fulfill His purpose.

STEP 4 — GET CONNECTED

Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. When you gave your life to Christ, you didn’t just begin a personal relationship with God—you became part of His family. The church is a community where you can grow, be encouraged, build meaningful relationships, and walk through life with others. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us of the importance of gathering together, because we need each other. Whether it’s through Sunday services, small groups, or serving teams, getting connected helps you grow stronger in your faith and experience the support and strength of a spiritual family.

Scripture: Hebrews 10:25, Psalm 92:13

STEP 5 — STAY PLANTED

Getting planted is just the beginning—staying planted is the test.

God grows us in community, but real relationships come with real challenges. Offense will come. Misunderstandings will happen. And the enemy will use both to try to disconnect you from the very place God designed to grow you.

In this Next Steps teaching, you’ll learn how to:
Guard your heart
Refuse offense
Stay committed when it gets hard
Grow deep roots that produce lasting fruit
Don’t let offense uproot your future.

Stay planted. Grow strong. Thrive in the house of God.

Watch this teaching and learn how to stay planted, grow strong and thrive in the house of God.
