This morning we celebrate a powerful day of water baptism, discipleship, and God's transforming grace. Throughout history, great generations have understood that lasting impact requires sacrifice. They chose to invest in a future they might never fully see. The same principle is found throughout Scripture as David prepared for a temple he would never build, Moses led Israel toward a promise he would never enter, and Jesus endured the cross for generations yet unborn.
Today we reflect on the life-changing impact of our recent youth camp, where students encountered the presence of God, lives were transformed, and seeds were planted for future generations. We also celebrate those taking the next step in their faith through water baptism—a public declaration that they have died with Christ and risen to walk in newness of life.
