Andrew Watts

Student Pastor

Andrew Watts has been serving faithfully as the Student Pastor at Grace Community Church since 2011. Raised in a Godly home, he attended his grandfather’s church as a child, but his true journey with Jesus began when he was 18 years old. It was at that time that he surrendered his entire life to Christ, in whom Andrew found true life and freedom. From that moment forward, he knew his life had a greater purpose and that God was calling him into the ministry.

Andrew responded to God’s call to preach the Gospel and began leading the students here at Grace Community Church. He has a heart to see students from all walks of life encounter Jesus and have a face-to-face experience with True Love. He wants to see lives in Jackson Parish forever changed and carry the Gospel to their families and schools.  His ministry is helping lay a firm spiritual foundation for the students of our community, offering them a relationship with Jesus that they can bring with them for the rest of their lives.

Andrew also serves as a  firefighter with the Ruston Fire Department.  So, while he spends his day job putting out literal fires, he spends his Friday nights at REACH student ministry lighting spiritual fires in the hearts of the students here at Grace Community Church!
